About me

My name is Pamela Evangelista, and I am a textile artist based in Germany. My work exists at the intersection of discipline and desire, I believe we are all looking for a way to live more honestly. I want to live in a world where sex is art, where our forms are celebrated as masterpieces of light and shadow, and where the human silhouette is a source of profound pride rather than silence.

I did not take a traditional path to the arts. I have a degree in Business Administration, however, my journey has been one of trial, error, and thousands of hours spent mastering the tension of the cord. Being self-taught is not a limitation, it is my greatest freedom. It allows me to look at traditional macramé, textile art and see something entirely new a way to render the ephemeral energy of intimacy into a permanent, structural form.

Every piece I create, starting with Astoria, is a testament to slow production.

The Process: Each work begins as an original sketch, meticulously translated into thousands of hand-tied knots.

The Time: A single piece represents hours of manual devotion.

The Material: I work exclusively with 100% recycled cotton, choosing materials that are as kind to the earth as they are soft to the touch.

My journey is defined by a commitment to exploration. While my current work focuses on the minimalist beauty of the silhouette, I am building toward a future where my art represents all forms of sexual pleasure. I believe that every way we connect, every way we seek and earn pleasure, is worthy of being documented in high art.

I create for the seekers, the rebels, and the collectors who believe that our most private moments deserve to be celebrated in our most sacred spaces.
